Three Phase Hybrid Inverter LTN-8/10/12K-3PH-EU (48V, Dual MPPT)
The Liniotech LTN-8/10/12K-3PH-EU is a 48V three phase hybrid inverter that connects solar panels, battery storage and a 230/400V grid in one wall-mounted unit. You can choose 8kW, 10 kW, or 12kW of rated output for three-phase homes, farms, workshops and small commercial sites. And when the grid fails, it keeps your critical loads running on stored solar energy.
Three-phase properties use a lot of power, and they usually pay for it at the worst times. Pumps, compressors, kitchens and air conditioning all peak in the late afternoon and evening, right when solar output falls. The LTN-3PH-EU closes that gap. It stores your midday surplus, supplies it through the evening, and switches to backup when the grid drops. As a result, you cut your peak-rate bills and protect your operations from outages.
Why Installers and Property Owners Choose the LTN-3PH-EU
Full rated output straight from the battery. The inverter charges and discharges at up to 190A (8K), 210A (10K) or 240A (12K). At 48V, that covers the full rated output of each model. So your battery runs the property at full power, not a reduced trickle.
Up to 15.6kW of solar input. Each model accepts 30% more PV power than its rated output: 10,400W, 13,000W and 15,600W. In other words, you can fit a larger array, harvest more in the mornings and evenings, and fill your battery faster on short winter days.
Wide 200–650V MPPT window. Two trackers handle PV voltages up to 800V and start producing from just 150V. On the 10K and 12K, tracker one accepts two strings at 26A combined. That gives you room for large roofs and multiple orientations on one inverter.
Surge power for heavy equipment. In off-grid mode, the inverter delivers twice its rated power for 10 seconds. That headroom starts water pumps, compressors, cold-room units and workshop tools without tripping.
Works with lithium or lead-acid. It runs on any 48V battery in the 40–60V range. With lithium banks, it reads the BMS over RS485 or CAN and adapts its charging automatically. With lead-acid, it follows a 3-stage charge curve with equalization.
Built for demanding sites. The IP65 enclosure resists dust and water jets, and smart cooling keeps the inverter stable from -25°C to 60°C. Because it runs at up to 55dB under load, a garage, plant room or utility wall works better than a living space.
Which LTN-3PH-EU Model Is Right for You?

Size the inverter to the loads you run at the same time, and leave headroom for growth. If you plan to add an EV charger, a heat pump or new machinery within a few years, step up one model now. It costs less than replacing the inverter later. Send us your load list or a recent electricity bill, and our team will recommend the right model and battery bank.
How the LTN-3PH-EU Hybrid Inverter Works
During the day, your panels supply the property first. Next, surplus solar charges the battery, and any remaining energy can be exported to the grid where your utility allows it.
In the evening, the battery takes over as solar production drops. So you avoid buying grid power during peak tariff hours.
During an outage, anti-islanding protection disconnects the inverter from the grid. Your backup circuits then keep running from the battery and solar array. When grid power returns, the system reconnects and resumes charging automatically.
Safety Protection on Every Unit
Every LTN-3PH-EU model integrates PV arc fault detection, PV lightning protection and anti-islanding. It also includes reverse polarity protection on the string inputs, insulation resistance detection and a residual current monitoring unit (RCMU). On the output side, it guards against over-current, short circuits and over-voltage. Together, these layers protect your array, your battery and everyone on site.
Certifications and standards
- Grid connection: VDE 0126, AS4777, NRS 097-2-1, G98, G99, IEC 61683, IEC 62116 and IEC 61727
- Safety: IEC 62109-1 and IEC 62109-2
- EMC: EN 61000-6-1, EN 61000-6-3, and FCC Part 15 Class B
Grid approval rules differ by country and utility. For that reason, confirm connection requirements with your local network operator before installation.
Pair It With a Liniotech LiFePO4 Battery Bank
The LTN-3PH-EU pairs with the Liniotech LifePower4 5.12kWh 51.2V battery, our rack LiFePO4 battery modules and our power storage wall batteries.
To use the full 190A to 240A rate, match the bank's combined continuous discharge rating to the inverter. In practice, 100Ah modules usually mean at least two in parallel for the 8K and three for the 10K or 12K. Check each module's discharge rating when you plan the bank. More modules also mean longer backup, so a larger bank pays off twice.
Is This the Right Inverter for Your Property?
The LTN-3PH-EU is built for 230/400V, 50/60Hz three-phase supplies. You'll find these across Europe, the UK, Australia, South Africa, the Middle East and much of Asia.
- Single-phase 220–240V property: choose the LTN-3.6/5/8K-EU single phase hybrid inverter.
- Larger three-phase system on a high-voltage battery: see the LTN-10/12/15KHV-3PH high voltage hybrid inverter.
- US property: US three-phase services run at 208V or 480V, so browse our US Solar Hybrid Inverter range instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a three phase hybrid inverter?
A three phase hybrid inverter converts DC solar power into 230/400V three-phase AC and manages a battery at the same time. As a result, it can store surplus solar, supply it after sunset and keep power running during grid outages, all from a single unit.
Do I need a three phase inverter, or will single phase work?
Match the inverter to your supply. If your property has a three-phase connection, a three-phase inverter spreads generation across all three phases and powers three-phase equipment directly. On a single-phase supply, choose the LTN-3.6/5/8K-EU instead.
Which batteries work with the LTN-3PH-EU?
It works with 48V lithium-ion (including LiFePO4) and lead-acid batteries in a 40–60V range. For lithium, it communicates with the BMS over RS485 or CAN and adjusts charging automatically.
How many solar panels can I connect?
The 8K accepts up to 10,400W of PV, the 10K up to 13,000W, and the 12K up to 15,600W. With 550W panels, that's roughly 18, 23 or 28 panels. Each string must stay within the 200–650V MPPT range, and each string input carries up to 13A. Our team can confirm the exact layout for your panels.
How long will it run my property during an outage?
Runtime depends on battery capacity and load. For example, a 15kWh lithium bank running a 2kW average load lasts roughly 6 to 7 hours. Adding modules extends that time.
Is it approved for UK grid connection?
The inverter carries G98 and G99 certification. G98 covers smaller installations up to 16A per phase, so larger systems, including the 12K at 18A rated output, usually need G99 approval from your network operator.
Can I install it outdoors?
Yes. The IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, and the inverter operates from -25°C to 60°C. Output derates above 45°C, however, so mount it on a shaded wall away from direct afternoon sun.
What warranty is included?
Each model comes with a 5-year warranty. Register your inverter on the Liniotech warranty page after installation to activate it.
